Justin Timberlake svarar organisationen Take Back The Night angående diskussionen kring hans singel Take Back The Night.
Tidigare i veckan rapporterade vi om anti-våldtäktsorganisationen Take Back The Night, som blivit stötta av Justin Timberlakes senaste singel med samma namn.
Nu ger Justin dem ett officiellt uttalande via Radar:
I wanted to take this opportunity to let all know that neither my song nor its lyrics have any association with the organization. As I've learned more about the Take Back the Night Foundation, I’m moved by its efforts to stop violence against women, create safe communities and encourage respectful relationships for women - something we all should rally around. It is my hope that this coincidence will bring more awareness to this cause.
JT vill alltså befästa att varken låten eller texten i låten har någonting med själva organisationen Take Back The Night att göra och att han hoppas att hela diskussionen kommer att ge föreningen och det de arbetar för mer uppmärksamhet.
Det var ju rart. Vem vet, mitt i allt kommer kanske Justin stå som deras frontfigur. All pr är bra pr. Eller?
